What is your background/experience?
I moved to Paris in 2007 for what was meant to be a short stay, after a 15-year career as a project manager in the automotive industry, leading complex international relocations. Experiencing firsthand the challenges of settling in France, from housing to administration, I realized there had to be a better way. That insight led me to co-found Your Friend in Paris, with the goal of helping others relocate with clarity, confidence, and the right support from day one.

English French and Polish
Where is your favorite place in Paris? Why?
I love my home and my garden. It’s my happy place. We live in the western suburbs, close to the forest, which gives us a perfect balance between city life and nature.
What’s your favorite French festival?
I don’t enjoy large crowds, but my village’s annual celebration is my favorite.
What’s your favorite French food?
Tarte au citron meringuée. Surprisingly, even though I enjoy cooking, I’ve never attempted to master this pastry!
